As you may or may not already know, the Precisionist quartz movement from Bulova is one of the most noteworthy horological innovations of the past 10 years. Every watch in the Precisionist collections features a superpowered movement which vibrates at a much higher frequency with a slightly different crystal than other quartz powered movements.
The long and short of it is that the Bulova 96B130 Precisionist Longwood will only vary by as much as 10 seconds… Per year! And it has a sweeping secondhand that is actually smoother than what you would find in most mechanical watches.
I have already reviewed a fair number of watches from the Bulova Precisionist collections, so I won't spend a ton of time on this Bulova 96B130 review, but I did go ahead and do some extra research and put together this nice pros and cons list for you followed by my personal verdict on what this men's watch offers and for who:
